The Center for Hearing & Speech is the most comprehensive resource for pediatric hearing loss in Texas and is the only facility in the region to offer health services and spoken language education for hearing impaired children under one roof.  The Center is relocating in order serve twice as many children.

The Teacher Institute at Colonial Williamsburg provides teachers with in-depth lessons in colonial history, rich resource materials, and teaching strategies that captivate students through interactive learning. Houston teachers can then share with their students a better understanding of the birth of our Nation and the relevance of citizenship and democracy. Sailing Angels provides recreational therapy and respite to individuals suffering from mental and physical handicaps. Each patron is offered the opportunity to actively participate to the best of their abilities by raising the sails, tying knots, ‘driving’ the vessel, and assisting in docking. Founder, Captain Dave McCabe, is a retired aerospace engineer with an accomplished career using his expertise of trajectory calculations and simulations to guide moon landing and return to Earth missions.
